I know I'm going to meet them all, and I'm so happy about it, I managed to pull it off.
All thats left to do is a few niggly bits of paper and sketchbook work and my contextual studies essay, which I'm totally prepared for.

After getting most of Nadine's done in advance, Ive recently received some really good grades which helps take the pressure off.
Theres a few minor things I need to do like stick in my proposal, and finish annotations, but other than that I'm good.

Ive finished my inner and outer garment, I need to treck up and dye them

I gave the print rooms a visit and printed all my devorve fabric for my outer garment, and I'm very please with it. I was terrified of ruining my expensive fabric, but it turned out good, yey!

I'm feeling alot better about nads now, Ive finished unit 85, it took long enough I wish i would of started it when we were told, ah well at least its done now!

Ive finished all of mikes work now, just need to spend a day sorting my portfolio and photograph it for the digital one, a day should be enough to do all that.

Even though year one work isnt heathers, I finally got my textiles folder handed in, a long time overdue, but I'm happy with it and will hopefully get a good mark.

post weekend update
Well it hardly went to plan.
Im so exhausted its hard to do anything, I'm not even sleeping anymore, not properly anyway.
I did finish my copyright presentation and I started my essay, guess thats better than nothing at all...

after having problems with my toiles I have managed to do enough sampling and pattern adjustments to finally get it right.
I sourced all my fabric a few weeks back so now its just a case of getting it done!
OH and also, my outer garment needed no adjustment so I already have the pattern ready for that, hurrah!

since I have quite a body of research now I'm trying to concentrate on other things as I have loads to do, I need to make sure it doesn't get completely neglected at the same time.

I made my toile and some serious adjustments need to be done,at least it gives me more to write about in my sketchbook. I just need to crack on and get my garment made so i can do all my textiles work on it, which will take forever. gah.

I have handed in my portfolio but i know more work need to be done for it, gonna have to get that back and edit it at some point. I also need to start PPD, ah reliving the horror and university application, not ideal.

I have completed and printed out my colour palette, inspiration board and target customer board. So glad I've got these out of the way and avoided all the busy printing queues around deadline time. very good organisation Erika, pat on the back.

I seem to have
really pulled my sketchbook together and have done some good design developments for heather in a separate sketchbook which is going to be where I document pattern and toile work.
Productive week
Ive resubmitted my worn again project and finally feel like things are getting back on track.
Especially now the whole university rush is finally over, I've been so depressed with how things have been going and now I finally feel like theres a light at the end of the tunnel.
This is really helping to keep me motivated.

Since getting back
I'm not overly confident with how much I've got done, as I have alot to resubmit.
however I am pleased with FMP progress.
For Nadine's I started my unit 85, and for Heathers Ive started to draft my pattern

Over the holidays
I've been on my Easter 'holidays' but I have been doing a lot of work so I haven't really had much time to spare to relax.
I do feel like I've put a lot of time into working and haven't had a great output.
I have completed outstanding work which is a weight off my shoulder, and last week I went upto the print rooms and after spending two full days in there have had a breakthrough with my project as I have created some beautiful samples for my sketchbook, and have also found a technique which I am going to use on my final garment.
so its kind of been 50/50 with progress, but some progress is better than non I guess.
I have one full day of holiday left, so tomorrow is going to be spent writing up my draft for contextual studies and trying to sort out my sketchbook, I might go into college to do this so I can get some book referencing done.
Then sunday is going to be spent preparing my portfolio for mikes deadline on tuesday.

I cannot remember how Heathers lesson went, so realistically probably didn't complete everything I wanted to.
I started to think about making a pattern for my dress and then working on the stand from that initial pattern but I didn't get around to doing that.

I drew up a design o try out, and today did some dye samples from the fabric I bought to get the effect of the sky from my images.
I wasn't overly happy with the end result, however I can experiment further.

A week later...
I'm having a massive struggle to stay motivated at the moment as I'm having serious issues with universities, which is really taking up a lot of time and effort.
All this stress is making it hard to concentrate and I feel really deflated with my work etc etc.
So I'm currently working on my target customer and inspiration board, so its not a completely wasted day.
Trying to stay postitive isn't so easy at the moment.

The first post
Since starting my project I have made a steady progress, but now I need to step it up. I think my time management hasn't been its best as I have unfortunately not yet made a written and structured time plan, however I am currently making one as to where I should be with all my work, to check I am up to date and on top of my work load. My next post will include the dates of when I started and when I shall finish this project.
